San Salvador El Salvador

San Salvador, El Salvador – 2008. San Salvador is the capital and the largest city of El Salvador and as such is the country's political, cultural, educational and financial center. As part of the Habitat Global Village trip to El Salvador we took a day trip to San Salvador and visited the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Saviour, the José Simeón Cañas Central American University, a new shopping centre and several other sites that were associated with events from the 1979 – 1992 civil war.
